Bird Watching Safaris

These itineraries are designed for clients who have a special interest in African birdlife. Bird watching safaris are a wonderful way to spend time in the great parks on safari, noticing the small things, taking time in more remote areas with rushing from one large game to the next. We spend time viewing the magnificent birds, including kori bustards, weavers and king fishers. In the Serengeti alone there are over 500 species of birds. The best time for bird watching is from November to April, when the migratory birds have returned from Europe and the resident birds are nesting.
