Caroline Goody (Australia / UK) lived in Tanzania for over 11 years and now splits her time between her homes. George Elmo, trained and worked as a safari tour guide for many years in Tanzania, his home country, before setting up Taswira Africa Safaris. Together they are offering safari clients something special – the ultimate Tailor made African safari adventure, with excellent guest care and overall sustainability at heart.
Our client’s safety, comfort and enjoyment are paramount and we pride ourselves on excellent personal and communication skills, ensuring you feel safe, happy and informed the entire trip. We have carefully selected a range of good quality lodges and tented camps, ensuring you have the most memorable African safari. We have personally stayed in each of the accommodation options we have selected to ensure the quality of the rooms, customer service and catering. In each destination we have standard, mid-range and luxury options.
You will travel in comfortable, 4WD, fully serviced and maintained, specially fitted-out safari vehicles, with pop-up roofs for excellent wildlife viewing. There are charging stations on board, a large fridge (with soft drinks, wine and beer), water and a first aid kit. The guides are connected with radio call to share information about wildlife viewing or in case of any problems. We believe it is of the utmost importance to ensure that each client has the very best experience and goes home with only amazing memories.
Our team are available 24/7 while you are safari, to deal with any issues that may arise or to answer any questions. Your guide is stationed with you at all times, sleeping in the same accommodation, rather than moving into local guest houses in nearby towns, as is the norm for a lot of tour operators. We feel this is important so that you are safe in case of any emergency or just to answer any questions.
